On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo; das hier ist Leiopus denke ich. Vor Ort hab ich noch nachgeschaut, dass die sich nur schwer unterscheiden lassen; das Resultat ist Foto B. Mehr war nicht moeglich. Und aufs Geschlecht kommts ja anscheinend auch noch an. 05.06.2022, gute 7mm lang.

Ich denke das ist ein Weibchen von sturnus, aber sicher bin ich nicht, denn normalerweise ist der Halsschild bei denen nicht so gerade verengt. Die südeuropäischen Arten die sonst vielleicht in Frage kämen kommen in der Normandie aber nicht vor. Viele Grüße, Holger
