On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hier hat mich erst irritiert, dass die Flügeldecken so einfarbig und der Halsschild nicht so glänzend sind. Er saß auch nicht auf Kiefer, sondern auf Ahorn. Kann aber trotzdem nur Brachyderes incanus sein, oder? 16.9.23, 9 mm. Schönen Dank!

Comment: Hallo Käfer Kalle, der sieht wirklich arg nach Donacia impressa aus. Diese Art ist allerdings am Foto sehr schwer von D. thalassina zu trennen, aber wohl nicht unmöglich. Ich werd da mal noch eine Zweitmeinung einholen, denn das wäre ein richtig schöner Fund!
